Construction Director appointed and David Morris promoted

    4 December 2020

Larkfleet Group has appointed former Keir Living Director, Rob Crossland, as its new Construction Director, while the Group’s Senior Land Manager, David Morris, has been promoted to Land Director.

Rob joins Larkfleet Group from Keir Living, a housing arm of the Keir Group, having spent 11 years there – beginning as a Construction Manager and leaving as Construction Director.

In his role at Larkfleet Group, Rob will be responsible for leading the construction team in safety, quality and customer satisfaction; and ensuring developments are built to time and budget.

Speaking about his appointment, Rob Crossland said: “It’s great to be joining Larkfleet Group, a growing business with ambitions to become a national housebuilder. I’ll do everything I can to help the team get there, working closely with colleagues and stakeholders alike to bring some of the lessons I’ve learnt to the table from over 20 years in the construction industry.”

Meanwhile, David Morris, Larkfleet Group’s Senior Land Manager has been promoted to Land Director. In his role he will oversee the Group’s land portfolio, working with both internal and external stakeholders to bring forward sites – as well as source and co-ordinate new land opportunities.

David began working at Larkfleet Group in 2016 as Senior Land Manager, and prior to that was the Strategic Planning Manager at Persimmon Homes.

Speaking about his promotion, David said: “I’m very proud to be taking on this new role at Larkfleet Group. Having been at the company for a number of years, I’m excited by the plans and goals we’ve set ourselves and look forward to working in close collaboration with the management team to lead the Larkfleet Group towards continued success.”

This news follows the appointment of new Larkfleet Group CEO, John Anderson, earlier this year and reflects the company’s ambition to triple in size in the next five years, to become a premium national housebuilder.

Speaking about Rob’s appointment and the promotion of David Morris, John Anderson said: “We’re really looking forward to having Rob join the team. Having worked with him in my previous position at Keir Group, I know we’re getting a brilliant Construction Director, who will help the Larkfleet Group take significant steps towards our targets in the coming years.

“David’s promotion is recognition of his expertise as a Land Director and I know he will play a crucial role in the development of the Larkfleet Group and our companies – Allison Homes and Larkfleet Homes – as we seek to build on the progress we’ve made in 2020, despite the impacts of COVID-19.”
